Faced with the potential to more than double its population over 50 years, the city is at a critical point (Saskatoon Speaks, background paper, 2010). Investing financially in READ Saskatoon, and its capacity to work with adults, families and workplaces, ensures that Saskatoon remains skilled and competitive and ready to meet the new challenges of a knowledge-based society.
