Meet people and grow your networks. Volunteering can help you meet different kinds of people and make new friends.

Be part of a community. Volunteering can help you feel part of something outside your friends and family.

Learn new skills. Volunteering can help you learn new skills, gain experience and sometimes even qualifications.

Take on a challenge. Through volunteering you can challenge yourself to try something different, achieve personal goals, practice using your skills and discover hidden talents

We are seeking caring community leaders with a passion for learning to join our board committees. Committees meet 3-4 times a year for 1-2 hours each meeting.

We need members with willing hearts and active hands who are skilled in the following areas:

  • Audit and Finance
  • Government Relations
  • Governance 
  • Recruitment of future board members (Nomination committee)
