Supplement World Steps Up Again for Literacy

Saskatoon, May 17, 2019 - Supplement World: strengthening community relationships to give back

On Monday, August 26, get ready for the biggest, the best, and of course, the most fun golf tournament of the summer! Held at the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club, a full slate of golfers from all around our community play a texas scramble and enjoy our awards program where we recognize our famous (and infamous!) golfers and people who bring literacy to life.

READ Saskatoon is pleased to announce Supplement World as the presenting sponsor at this year's PGI Golf Tournament for Literacy. This is their second year as title sponsor. Supplement World prides itself on having community roots in Saskatoon. Their values are focused on providing every customer the best possible experience through honesty and transparency, and they are anxious to give back to the community.

Each year READ Saskatoon works with over 3,000 people providing family literacy programs, financial literacy workshops, training volunteers to work one-on-one with adults to help them improve their reading, writing and numeracy skills, and training communities to deliver literacy programs. “Struggling with literacy means hard work: understanding an error on a bill, signing up for insurance, following directions on a medication label, helping a child with homework. Imagine the stress faced with every interaction and then imagine the impact on individuals’ and families’ learning and earning potential” (Sheryl Harrow-Yurach, READ Saskatoon Executive Director). Thank you, Supplement World, for your commitment to the community and supporting literacy programming at no cost to those who need it most.

If you would like to be a part of this inspiring and fun event, become a sponsor or register a team or as an individual. For more information and to register, visit:
