Out of the Covid-19 pandemic READ Saskatoon is emerging stronger than ever.
With the steadfast support of our community of friends and supporters, we are stepping up to meet the next big challenge: building education equity within in the context of Covid-19 recovery.
There are many aspects to this work, but our focus remains on literacy education for the province’s most vulnerable which we believe to be a key lever of change in our society.
To accomplish our goals and create impact on a larger scale, we are recruiting a new person to join our team in the following role:
Family Literacy Facilitator to deliver programs that relate to adult literacy and children’s social, emotional, physical, and early literacy skills development. Education or social work degree preferred. Wage range is $21-$28/hr.
If you are, or if you know of anyone who might be a good fit, please encourage them to apply especially if they are a systems thinker, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a growth mindset, are reliable, and are detail orientated. This position is full-time at 37.5 hours/week.

- qualifications and experience in education and literacy,
- experience working with families,
- wage expectations,
- experience in the non-profit sector, and
- possible start date.
